Denplan

Denplan is the UK’s leading dental health care company which was founded in 1986 when two Dentists had a vision of creating a new approach to dental care. The emphasis is on the prevention of dental disease rather than its repair and the person rather than just their teeth, which complements our own philosophy. We recommend Denplan Care to most of our patients for their continuing dental care. The most frequent level for both Care and Essentials is Level C. Under 25’s and those with very few problems tend to be Level A. Patients with multiple root canal treatments and crowns, or severe periodontal (gum) problems may be a Level D or E.

Denplan Care

Your fixed monthly payments help you budget for regular, affordable preventive dental care, without the fear of costly and unexpected bills. All normal routine dental care including check-ups, x-rays, fillings, root canal treatments and preventative care are included. For work involving laboratories (crowns, bridges and dentures) the time with the Dentist is covered, so you only pay the laboratory costs.

You need to be dentally fit and have completed all the necessary dental treatment that has been advised before you can join Denplan Care. Your Denplan Care level is assessed on the number and type of restorations you already have, the condition and health of your gums as well as your present dental health requirements.

Denplan Esstentials

A monthly payment plan designed to pay for your check-ups, xrays and preventative care. The level is solely determined by the chosen number of visits, and you then pay for fillings and other treatment as a private patient, with at least a 10% discount on our normal fees.

Denplan Excel

We have achieved Denplan Excel Accreditation which identifies practices committed to clinical excellence. You can have reassurance in your Dentist that they are practicing in line with the current ‘best practice’ guidelines. There are approximately only 900 out of 7000 Denplan Dentists throughout the country which have achieved Denplan Excel Accreditation. The Denplan Excel accreditation programme is supported by the Patients Association, and the Denplan Excel Accreditation has itself UKAS Product Certification.

Joining Denplan Essentials or Denplan Care

Here at Barnbrook Dental Practice, we offer a complete range of dental treatments for private and Denplan patients.

If you wish to join the practice please 'phone to arrange an initial assessment. There will be an advance payment required for your assessment, currently £95. This is completely refundable if you cancel your appointment more than 48 hours in advance. You will have to be made dentally fit prior to joining Denplan, so need to complete all the recommended treatment. Your Denplan level of monthly fees is then based on the number and type of restorations you have had in the past, your gum health condition and the likely treatment requirements in the future.
