Our Practice

Dental care with you in mind

At Barnbrook Dental Practice, we are aware that people are looking for different things when considering a dental practice. We offer customised treatments at our dental clinic in Exeter.

A little information for new patients

Barnbrook Dental Practice always welcomes new patients. Whether you have moved to the area, wish to try a new dentist, need emergency treatment, or have not had a check-up for years, our friendly team will be able to help you.

At your initial assessment, we will give you the opportunity to discuss your dental needs and expectations. We will gently and thoroughly check your teeth, gums, and mouth, as well as your head and neck. We may also take any necessary x-rays and maybe do additional tests to ensure we have all information prior to diagnosis or treatment.

We will then discuss your treatment plan and options. You will be supplied with an estimate of any proposed treatment. All private treatment charges will need to be paid at each appointment.

Extra information can be found on our private patient price list, which includes our full range of treatments ranging from standard inspections and fillings through to cosmetic dental procedures, extractions and more intensive treatments such as root canals.

A high standard of private dental care

Our aim is to provide preventive dentistry with modern techniques in a caring and sympathetic manner within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We want you to consider this a partnership over the long-term to establish excellent dental health for life.

We are mainly a private practice with most adult patients on Denplan, either Denplan Care or Denplan Essentials.
We are not NHS dentists, but we do have a contract with Devon PCT to provide NHS treatments to children and payment exempt adults.

Nervous? There is no need to be!

We appreciate that people may be anxious about going to the dentist. Do let us know if you have any anxiety about your visit, because you are not alone.

We try to help by creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere at our dental clinic to help overcome any apprehension you may have. We take things slowly, make everything as easy as possible, and ensure that you do not feel any discomfort.

We understand and are here to help. We always give you the opportunity to stop at any time. We have good success in reducing anxiety, mainly with just a little time and TLC.

Meet the team

Everyone at our practice is committed to providing you with the best in dental healthcare with consideration and professionalism. You will always see 'your' dentist, except very occasionally for emergency treatment, complemented with our hygienist for preventive care.
